Description

The blue color of the eyes of the portraits seems to be a bit overdone. The people aren't supposed to have laser vision, are they?

I have no coding experience with openttd/gfx and to be honest, I was unable to test it ingame, but I have looked into the palette stuff and managed to download the pcx file, and so I have edited it, in the hope it looks better.

Attached two sample screenshots from ingame. They look IMO quite a lot of better. Maybe they could even be another bit less bright. What do you folks think?

Right, they are too bright.

I could try making them darker again and instead dither the eye color with some neutral grey or something like that.

And I will try again to get the build stuff up so I can test myself. :)

Thank you, I got it working (I installed the wrong version of renum)

Here is my new version.

I attached a comparison screenshot, and if anybody is interested, the xcf/gimp file, I used.

imo, still "unrealistically" blue....

Just a sidequestion, are there african faces with blue eyes?

Right. I will try to improve it. At least it doesn't look anymore like a zombie.

No, they seem to have all black eyes.
