Description

Planetmaker and myself just helped a user at #openttd through the 'install and getting nml to run' process,
Below is the link to the log.
Perhaps by adding more details in the documentation, you can make the ride smoother for them.

- Version to download
- where to find the needed libs
- where to install them
- how to run nml from the command line.

(perhaps a very simple example project?)

For the first release it would be nice if we had at least some basic documentation of getting up and running.

What's the current state of this?

I think this is pretty much covered by the tutorial now.

Compiling on linux is covered as well as where to get precompiled binaries.
Windows users shouldn't bother with trying to compile themselves, but just get the precompiled binaries.
